Highland Scottish Gift Shoppe Ltd. and Scottish Formal Kilt Rentals and Sales is located on our Highland Estate in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are located on the hillside east of Canada Olympic Park, access from the Trans Canada Highway. We have been in business for over 35 years!
We specialize in Highland Dress Sales and Rentals. Our shop will assist you in the purchase or rental of your complete Highland kilt outfit. Our kilts are made in Scotland and we offer a complete kilt range from the traditional eight yard kilt to the casual kilt. We even offer the popular” bilt kilt” for casual settings! We stock a complete range of kilt accessories including Prince Charlie Jackets, Crail jackets, sporrans, belts, ghillie brogue shoes, Sgian Dubhs, and kilt pins. We rent the complete highland kilt outfit for Celtic weddings and special events.
Highland Scottish has an extensive line of Celtic diamond engagement and wedding rings, Celtic wedding rings and Celtic anniversary bands. We also stock Celtic crosses, pendants, earrings, brooches, and Claddagh rings. The shop carries bridal jewellery and giftware and groomsman gifts such as Sgian Dubhs and flasks.
We also sell D. Naill Bagpipes, R.T. Shepherd Bagpipes, and McCallum Bagpipes. Practice Chanters and bagpipes supplies are in stock. We also re-furbish Bagpipes.
Bill Hawes and his sister Jeanie Hawes are Bag pipers that have both won major prizes in Scotland and North America Jeanie was the first Canadian female to win first prize in the Light Music at the Northern Meeting in Inverness, Scotland.
